To God Be The Glory

Let the glory be to God for the work which has been accomplished it is only through His power and His finances that God has accomplished such a work. Praise The Lord for this.

It is only through the power of God that we can do anything in this world whether it is just doing our daily tasks or whatever it may be. But especially when it comes to ministry work. THIS WORK WILL NOT BE SUCCESFULY UNLESS GOD IS IN CONTROL

Too many times people can think this is my work when referring to the ministry work they are doing for God. And Yes they are true it is THEIR work and they have left God out of it. We need to recognise that this is not our work but simply God’s work and He has simply entrusted it to us.

“But when men exalt themselves, feeling that they are a necessity for the success of God’s great plan, the Lord causes them to be set aside. It is made evident that the Lord is not dependent upon them. The work does not stop because of their removal from it, but goes forward with greater power.” Desire of Ages

It is a humbling and dutiful task to be entrusted with working for God and it is my prayer that each one of us will remain faithful and humble to God’s calling.

We would like to thank God for making His work move forward for providing his workers with the ability and means to advance God’s Gospel work.

It is only by God’s grace that Advent Books has been able to reach souls and made an impression on peoples hearts and it is only by God’s grace that this work will be able to expand to reach more people and advance His coming.

Please pray for Advent Books that we will remain a humble tool of the Master and that each worker and Advent Books’ “leaders” will remain humble and keep ever before them that they are working for their Lord.

May God bless each one of You.

I Let Go And Know That God Is In Charge.

If I begin to view something in my life
as a problem or a burden, it is time for me
to let go and let God.
In prayer, I surrender control
over the situation.
Then I get out of the way and let God
do God's part.

I surrender any nagging thoughts and worries
that are on my mind, and I trust God.
I have no need to control everything,
plan every detail, or worry about
every possibility.
My commitment is to trust God.
So I become still and quietly but
trustingly proclaim,
"I let go and let God."

Trusting in God relieves me.
I feel as if a weight has been lifted
from my shoulders.
I let go of my own need to force
a particular outcome; rather,
I trust that God will bring about
the RIGHT outcome.
I let go and know that God,
as always, is in charge.

"Cast your burden on the Lord,
and He will sustain you."--Psalm 55:22

God increases (to God be the glory)Back in the summer of 1994, Jonathan Bennett from England (aged 16) was invited to go to a camping weekend to distribute literature in a nearby town. Once all was organised for this weekend and all packed, Jonathan's friend dropped him and 2 other friends at the camp organiser's house for the weekend to begin. The camp organiser drove the three boys to the camp site with the car packed with all the essentials...

Lessons from the Folding Machine Do you remember what was the most often used way that Jesus taught the multitude - parables. The people could remember Jesus' words every time they saw the everyday things that Jesus spoke about. (I can well remember one parable from years ago, about fruit picking)...

An Impressive Scene In the visions of the night a very impressive scene passed before me. I saw an immense ball of fire fall among some beautiful mansions, causing their instant destruction. I heard someone say: "We knew that the judgments of God were coming upon the earth, but we did not know that they would come so soon." Others, with agonized voices, said: "You knew! Why then did you not tell us? We did not know." On every side I heard similar words of reproach spoken.

From Rags to... Better Rags For many of us when it comes to finances and the Lords' work we think however will enough money come in to finish the Lords work. But rarely do we think what more can I do to help sacrifice for my Lord and raise more finances to save souls in the Kingdom of heaven. If Christ could have this attitude:- "Jesus did not count heaven a place to be desired while we were lost." DA416 then how much more can we do for our Lord?
